The U.S. is a culturally diversified country. Open immigration policies result in such a racial
diversity in this country, which win America a prosperous environment to develop science, arts,
culture, and creativity. Various types of immigration cultures exchange and blend with each
other, forming a nationwide vibrate interaction and integration of arts.
Originally founded in 1972 as the South Bay Dance as a civic dance company. In 1983, the
organization received national exposure when it became the New South Bay Dance and entered
an innovative partnership with American Dancers. The two organizations maintained separate
boards and staff, but shared artists and repertoire. This allowed both cities to afford a higher
artistic product. However, over time, the concept resulted in an accumulated debt and in 1993,
the partnership was officially terminated.
